About Linda
More information
Linda Paoli has been a social worker since 1978 and has been seeing clients in her own private practice for 22 years. Prior to that she worked as a Social Worker with the California Youth Authority and as a therapist with a nonprofit agency treating molest victims and their families. As a result of these experiences, she has developed a keen desire to short-circuit the legacy of abuse and addiction and replace it with one of healthy connection to oneself and others. She is committed to creating a healthier world-- one person, one couple, one family or one organization at a time.
Her primary focus is healing relationships - and because of that she has developed specialties in couples’ counseling, sex and love addiction and/or sex and love anorexia, codependency, chemical and process addictions (i.e., debting, work, food, codependency), healthy sexuality, and Inner Child issues.
She has had the great fortune to be trained by internationally known experts in relationship counseling and sex addiction. These include, but are not limited to Robert & Mary Goulding (Dr. & LCSW respectively), Dr. Patrick Carnes and Dr. Harville Hendrix.
