What is Sex and Love Addiction?

Do you or someone you love.....

  1. 1. Often find yourself preoccupied with sexual thoughts?

  2. 2.Spend a lot of time on the computer looking at internet porn?

  3. 3.Hurt people you love because of your sexual behavior?

  4. 4.Make efforts to quit a type of sexual activity and fail?

  5. 5.Feel depressed or ashamed about your sexual behavior?

  6. 6.Think that if you find the right person all your problems will be solved?

  7. 7.Go from one relationship to another in search of that “right” person?

Sex and love addiction is a disease of extremes - too much or too little. There are sex addicts and sexual anorexics (or avoiders).  Some people are romance addicts and the anorexics avoid romance and love totally. Others are addicted to relationships and their opposites abstain from love relationships at all. For answers to frequently asked questions about sex and love addiction, as well as information about other resources, go to the web site of the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health -  http://www.sash.net

Because of her expertise and years of experience with general addiction issues and couples therapy, sex and love addiction is a natural specialty for Linda. Sex and love addiction affects the type of people we choose to get to know and date, the way we date, the quality of our relationships and marriages, our ability to be good parents, and how we function in every other part of life as well.
